LIFE TEEN is an international model of youth ministry that started in 1985 in Mesa, Arizona. Since that time it has spread to over 900 parishes around the world. LIFE TEEN's mission is to bring teens to a relationship with Jesus Christ through His Church, the liturgy, and an environment of being loved and accepted. The Edge is the middle school model of Youth Ministry that accompanies and compliments LIFE TEEN.

A LIFE Night is a chance for you to meet new people and have new experiences. Some nights might be rip-roaring hilarious, with skits, videos, or crazy contests (like diving in a bucket of slime). Other nights might be instructional, as we learn about what God has in store for us. Still other nights might be a chance to discuss pertinent issues affecting our society today. All in all, it's a pretty cool way to hang out after mass on Sunday night. For the Edge, Club is a chance to learn about your faith in a new way, out of the classroom and in an experiential setting.

You have to be in grades 9-12 to attend LIFE TEEN (6th - 8th Grade for the Edge). That is the only requirement. You can be a guy, girl, Catholic or not. If you are in high school or middle school, you are a part of LIFE TEEN and the Edge. You may not know it, and you may not have been, yet, but you are! There are no fees, we don't take attendance, and how often you attend is totally up to you. If it is your first time, we recommend that you come with a group of friends (it is always more fun doing something new with other people you know) for six (6) consecutive weeks. The reason for this is that we do different things ALL THE TIME and one week is just not enough to judge what LIFE TEEN or the Edge are. After six weeks, you'll have a better idea of who we are and what we're about.

A Core Member or Leader is an adult or young adult who has been out of high school for one year (Leaders may be high school students who have gone through training). Core Members and Leaders seek to serve Christ by building relationships with teens in order to lead them closer to Christ on this road we call "high school." You will find that Core Members are sincere, heartfelt people that only want the best for you... and they can be pretty cool, too!

Join us for the LIFE TEEN Mass,. every Sunday evening at 5:00 o'clock p.m.
