LIFE TEEN is an international model of youth ministry that started in 1985 in Mesa, Arizona. Since that time it has spread to over 900 parishes around the world. LIFE TEEN's mission is to bring teens to a relationship with Jesus Christ through His Church, the liturgy, and an environment of being loved and accepted. The Edge is the middle school model of Youth Ministry that accompanies and compliments LIFE TEEN. |

How does 100’s of screaming teens at a concert sound? How about shooting down the first drop of Nitro at Six Flags? Laser Tag? Mets vs. Yankees? Climbing a rock wall? Navigating an obstacle course? Wrestling in Yuck? (What the heck is Yuck?) LIFE TEEN takes care of you socially. Meet teens from all over the country at one of the national camps, or meet teens in the neighborhood while you take time to feed the poor, or learn about the Source and Summit of our faith. If you have an itch to meet some cool friends, and have a great time in the process, LIFE TEEN is the place to be! “All I ever needed to know I learned in Confirmation.” While you may think so, do you find yourself pausing when being asked questions about your faith and what you believe? Are there nagging doubts about the teachings of the Church? Do you just want to go deeper in your knowledge of faith and spirituality? Check out the LIFE Nights every Sunday after the Teen Mass. Here you get the Church’s teachings as never presented before. Honestly — ` from Core members who have one concern in mind: telling you the truth. Bad breakup? Bad breakdown? Bad break dancing? LIFE TEEN isn’t just a cool place to learn about God, we also care about your emotional well being. Here you’ll learn about relationships and how to make them last. You’ll learn the do’s and the don’ts of navigating the emotional battlefield that is high school. Don’t understand why you feel the way you do? Chances are there is a LIFE Night around the corner that is speaking to your heart. Lest we forget, this is a Catholic program, based on the Liturgy. Start anything with a dynamic Teen Mass and you are bound to have God on the brain for the evening. Here you get a chance to explore your soul and its longings for God. Nervous about prayer? Wondering if God hears? Don’t know how to pray? We want to help you get into a great lifelong relationship with our Creator who knows you the best! This isn’t your momma’s prayer time either! Wanna get deep? Wanna take your prayer time to the edge? Wanna experience an intensity that is unmatched? Go on a retreat, or maybe two and you might find out that there is a God, and he cares about you and your happiness. |
